Using Act III Scene i for reference, what kind of sentiments do you think that Hamlet displays with his encounter with Ophelia? After thinking about this encounter, pretend to be Ophelia and write a journal entry revealing your true emotions and thoughts about how much Hamlet has changed since being in a relationship with you. What kinds of thoughts do you have now? Are you exasperated? Exhausted from his volatile behavior? Crazed? Despairing? Reveal your innermost thoughts and jot them down here. At least 5 sentences including 3 pieces of textual evidence in your response.

Ever since Hamlet and I ended our relationship, he hasn't been the same. His actions are wild and sporadic. On line 125 Hamlet says he loves me, but on line 129 he says he doesn't. He says one thing and then says the complete opposite. On line 97 he calls me a nymph and then on line 131 he tells me to go to a nunnery. First he calls me a fairy, then he says I'm a prostitute.

"I did love you once" Hamlet said to me. ( line 125 ) A few moments later he told me that he never actually loved me! ( line 121) Recently, he's been acting really weird and we broke up. He even told me to go a nunnery. (line 131) Hamlet has been acting so weird to me lately and it makes me so upset. I'm exhausted because of how crazy he has been acting, and I just want him to act normal again.

I like the emotion that your comment portrayed. I think the quote at the beginning was a good way to start. Your content was very realistic, I think this is similar to how Ophelia would have reacted. Maybe to show stronger emotion next time use an exclamation point.

Hamlet has become a pain. He is rude! He called me a prostitute! "To a nunnery, go, and quickly too. Farewell." it was rude and uncalled for. He also told me if I marry to marry a fool because I'm not worth a man with common sense. "... marry a fool, for wise men know well enough what monsters you make of them." What a jerk! I hate this the most though. "God hath given you one face, and you make yourself another." He called me a lieing monsterous prostitute. Then he said he never loved me. Well I'm done with him. I don't need Hamlet. He's crazy anyways.

This was written very well. I like your examples and agreed with your examples. Finally I thought it was pretty solid.

Hamlet needs to calm down. At first I felt bad for giving him the cold shoulder out of nowhere but now I feel absolutely no remorse. I had fought my own father to prove Hamlet's love for me but now I'm baffled! He said he loved me (line 125) and then turned around and said that he actually never did (line 129). I used to think that he was a great man, but now, he called me a prostitute when he told me to go to a nunnery (line 131)! I had thought that he was going insane because of heartache but now I have come to the conclusion that he's just a plain jerk! I'm so glad I got out of that relationship when I did. Who knows how much longer he could have kept up that act?

This is a great blog post I like all of the textual evidence. I agree that it was a good thing to be out of that relationship. Something I would've added was to talk about more about how Ophelia is feeling like betrayed, sad, etc.

I like the evidence you used and when he said he never loved you. I also like how you don't care about how he feels because of what he did to you. But however, I think that you spying on him was something he was mad at you for, so you should also see it from his perspective.

Hamlet has been acting bipolar. First he said that he loved me, then he told me to go to a nunnery (line 131)! His words fluster me. He told me that I turn wise men to monsters (lines 150-151)! I hate to think that by obeying my fathers orders of shutting Hamlet out have caused him to become mad. Now he denies both his feelings towards me and his letters, like we are nothing but acquaintances (line 105). I know their must be another trigger to his madness.

I really like your word choice! I agree with everything you said and everything seemed to flow well. Only thing I find wrong is that in the last sentence it should be there rather than their.

there I was thinking that Hamlet has given me these letters in which he said he loved me. What he just Is making me wonder what's actually going on Hamley said "I did love you once" then said "I never loved you." I just don't know what to think the way he insulted me saying I needed to go to s nunnery. Where is this all coming from I still love him but niw he is saying that he never have me these love letters. He scares me the way he just snaped and got so angy when he heard a noise and got to violent.

You are right that he said I loved you once and that I never loved you. You are also correct on how he got mad once he heard the noise. I disagree on how he got violent, I think that he got hostile and mad but never violent.

I like the way you used the quotes and what you wrote about. I noticed that you had a decent amount of spelling and editing errors. It is important that you go back and check what you wrote after you are done. There needs to be a better understanding of the text so that your writing can improve.

Good job writing out your thoughts. I don't think she is thinking that he never loved her since he did say he loved her once. Also could have explained how he got violent with her.

I would feel upset at myself because j betrayed him. Hamlet say "I loved you not..." It was a slap in the face. I would be very sad because I loved him and I thought he loved me. He also said he had never wrote the love letter and she know he did I would feel angry at him.

I think you use fantastic vocabulary and i like how you talk about Hamlets feelings and emotions. I agree with how you feel about being in the same situation as Hamlet. Also you used good quotes for your arguement.

I feel like Hamlet was really excited to see Ophelia at first. But then after talking to her for a while I think he was starting to act crazy. He said that he loved me once and then he said he never loved me. Then he tells her to go to a nunnery, which is basically calling her a prostitute. Then he hears people spying on him and he goes insane.

Hamlet is becoming insane. He has become cold and rude. He has said very hurtful things to me. Hamlet said that he had never loved me. He also called me a liar and a prostitute and told me to go to a nunnery.

Hamlet was exited to see Ophelia in till he finds out he is being betrayed by her. I feel that Hamlet has changed a lot. I could not believe he would do that. I feel exasperated. What happened to us.

"I loved you once"(125),"I love you not"(129) these words are still playing in my head. How could he say this I thought he loved me. I guess its probably because i had ignored him for so long. I blame my parents. But maybe it wasnt my parents maybe its just him he did say"Get thee to a nunnery"(131) why would he say such a thing. You know what i just dont care anymore i dont like him anymore he wasnt very nice and i guess he doesnt love me anymore.

Hamlet has changed so much since our relationship had first started. At the beginning he loved and adored me and wrote me letters of such sweet words, but, now he's gone mad. He told me, "I loved you once." and then a couple of seconds later and he said, "I never loved you." I just felt so deceived by Hamlet it broke my heart, but I think its for the best because he has gone completely insane, and I could never be with someone who threw me against the wall, hurt me, deceive me, and called me a liar.

I feel that hamlet in the beginning loved her but when he learned that she was spying on her he went crazy. He want crazy because everyone he likes are spying on him and it is making him upset and go crazy.

I absolutely love how you use the term crazy to describe Hamlet in this situation. Now I would change the way you have no textual evidence. I do agree how Hamlets mind is changing and not for the better. I would expand on this thought and put a little more work into it to creat something beautiful but good job.

I think Hamlet was still in love with Ophelia until he found out she was spying on him. He is very upset and sad and confused with Ophelia. He's been acting weird ever since being in the relationship.

I think Hamlet has changed so much since we fell in love. He is completely insulting now. He told me "To a nunnery, go, and quickly too. Farewell." This insulted me but then he said " I loved you not" How could he say something like that to me. I use to love this man but now he is crazy. The most insulting was when he told me the love of his life that I was not honest because I am beautiful. All I have is my honesty in this life so this really broke my heart.

I like your quotes. I think you made good points. You could have made Ophelia sound really angry with Hamlet. Overall I liked the post and thought it was well thought out.

Hamlet and I are no longer in a relationship. He said hurtful things to me, calling me a prostitute and a liar. He even told me to go to a nunnery! "I loved you not." I can't believe him! He's broken my heart. I should have listened to Laertes..
