I believe that hamlet wants horatio to tell hamlets story for him to the public so that hamlet wouldn't be thought of as a man with wicked or crazy intentions. Horatio and Hamlets relationship is very diverse from the other characters relationships with hamlet in the play. Horatio is Hamlets best friend. He has been there for hamlet from the very beginning, even when hamlet reached that point where he went complete and utterly insane. Horatio is the only friend to hamlet that hasn't stabbed him in the back.

Hamlet told Horatio to tell his story because he doesn't want people to think of him as an insane human who kills at will. Also, he tells him to do so bc Hamlet doesn't want to have these tragic events to occur again and if these do to not have made the same mistakes that he did when trying to prove someone guilty, like when he tries to prove that Claudius is guilty, he could have went at it in a better way that would not cause everyone to kill themselves. Horatio's role was different from everyone else's bc he was the only member in the play that Hamlet trusted. like he says that he can't trust Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, so I believe he's telling Horatio that he's the only one that he can trust. In conclusion I believe Horatio was an important person in this play even though he only shows up a couple times during it. As well as him having and important role in Hamlets life as well

I believe that Hamlet told Horatio to tell his story so that future people wouldn't make the same mistakes as he did. Throughout the story Hamlet does not take action in seeking revenge on Claudius. Then, in Act 4 Scene 4, Fortinbras taught Hamlet that he must be more aggressive in his revenge. Horatio's role in Hamlet's life is that of a trusted friend. Horatio is the only person that Hamlet trusts throughout the whole play. Earlier in the play it even says that Hamlet has lost his trust in Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, his good childhood friends.

I think Hamlet asks Horatio to tell his story because Horatio has been there for Hamlet all this time. Horatio has been loyal to Hamlet while he was going through all these tough times. He's especially been there for Hamlet when his father passed. He didn't tell anyone about his secret. Horatio knows what Hamlet was going through. Hamlet wanted Horatio to tell others about the story. Everyone in this story has died, except for Horatio. Hamlet wanted people to know what was going on and why he did what he later on did. Horatio was the only one who lived. He is the only one to tell the story. If it wasn't for Horatio being alive everything that happened would have been forgotten and no one would have known the true story.

Hamlet requests that Horatio tell his story because he feels the need to comfort Horatio and support him just like Horatio has done for him. Hamlet wants Horatios story to be known not only by him but others. Hamlet looks for proof of guilt in Claudius. He feels the need to search for a greater reason or purpose for his fathers death. Hamlet has finally learned that his revenge must come soon, be aggressive, and come without remorse. He needs to do this for not only his father but for himself. For it will finally put his mind at peace. His story and Horatios must be spread if not by others then each other.

Hamlet asks Horatio to tell his story because Hamlet knows that when Horatio tells it the whole story will be true. Hamlet knows this because Horatio has been his only true friend throughout the play. Horatio has always been the one person Hamlet could count on so it is important that the truth be told when what happened is told to the public. Horatio is important to the story in that way. Horatio is the one person that Hamlet and the audience can count on for the truth.

Hamlet asks Horatio to tell his story so his legacy will live on even though he is dead, his story won't die with him. Hamlet wants everyone to know his story of how his family turned against each other. Hamlet couldn't trust anyone his closet friends, his girlfriend, his uncle even his own mother. The only person that Hamlet could trust was Horatio. That is why Hamlet chooses Horatio to tell is story because he was the only person that stood by him, and the only person he could trust. Hamlet suspected something was wrong after his fathers sudden death and then his mother's early remarriage. Everyone didn't mourn on his father's death everyone was focused on the marriage. Hamlet was the only person that was sad about his father's death, Hamlet was against Claudius and Gertrude from that point. When Claudius and Polonius was spying on Hamlet he knew he couldn't trust them or Ophelia at that point. Ophelia was the center of their plan to spy on Hamlet to find out he was really crazy or faking. Rosencrantz and Guildenstern also spy on Hamlet to see what's wrong with Hamlet. Hamlet is done with them, and barely acknowledges them towards the end of the book. Hamlet had them sent to their death, and escaped his own death. By the end of the story Horatio is the only one alive to really tell Hamlet's whole story.

I think the reason why hamlet asked horatio to tell his story is because horatio is the only real person Hamlet can trust. Horatio has been loyal to hamlet through out the book. He told him to tell his story so that everyone wouldn't think he is crazy. Horatio is way more nicer and respectful to hamlet than any other character.

I believe it because Horatio is Hamlet's best friend. Since he is Hamlet's friend, he will tell the story thruthfully and not make Hamlet look like the bad guy. He is the only person Hamlet truly trusts. He believe Horatio will tell the story fairly and people will know the deceit and corruption within the kingdom.

Horatio is hamlets really good friend. He always has hamlets back and hamlet knows he can go to horatio for anything. Horatio when hamlet and everyone dies has to tell everyone what happened and about hamlet. So horatio is the only person hamlet can vount on. That is his role in the play of hamlet

I believe horatio was chosen to tell hamlets story for many reasons. He was there for hamlets whole life. He has first person examples of how hamlet lived and everything that happened to him. No one else would better tell the story then horatio himself.

I think hamlet asked horatio to tell his story so that people would not believe he is insane. Horatio And hamlets relationship is different than the others because horatio has been his best friend from the beginning and no one would know or be able to tell his story better than anyone else.

I think hamlet wants horatio to tell his story because he wants people to know why fortinbras took over Denmark and why he left the kingdom to him. also hamlet wants to make sure horatio was always his friend by doing his final request Comments are closed.
