Reflecting on the grafters in Circle 8 Bolgia 5, think about times in your life where graft has been prevalent. In the situation, were you the one on the giving or receiving end of graft? Explain the situation and compare and contrast it to the sinner whom Dante addresses in this Bolgia. At least 5 sentences.

Canto VI: The Gluttons

Based on Canto VI in "Inferno," reflect on the sinners and their punishments that have landed the sinners here. As the Gluttons, how has their desire for food and drink landed them in the Circle 3. Consider our Christianity as we embark on our journey through Lent as well take a look inside ourselves to prepare for the risen Christ. How have you been gluttonous with either food or drink? How often are we chasing after that which we think will fill us, allowing ourselves to be distracted from the One who really satisfies? At least 5 sentences.

As Dante and Virgil encounter the sinners in the Vestibule of Hell, they witness the Opportunists. These sinners are known for their indifference as they chose to chase to their own interests instead of choosing a side in the battle between Heaven and Hell. Think about your own personal lives and consider the concept of those whom might be considered as Opportunists. Are there people like this your classes? Do you know people like this outside of school? Explain why you would consider them like that, according to how Alighieri explains these sinners. At least 5 sentences. ​​
